Our story

Nepali craft.
New Zealand wool.

At Everest Felt, we make wool into things you want to keep close: felt animals, little ornaments, colorful purses and pieces for the home.

We care about what goes into them, and what comes back to the people who make them. That means cruelty-free wool, fair wages and skilled work for women in our Nepali community.

Our material

Soft wool.
A thoughtful choice.

Our products begin with cruelty-free wool sourced from New Zealand. Care for the animals behind our material is part of the care we put into every piece.

Wool gives our collection its soft texture and its character. It can become a plump little animal, a bright flower or a simple everyday accessory — each one with the warmth of natural fibers.

Our community

Skilled work.
Fairly paid.

Our all-women artisan team works in Kathmandu. We pay fair wages that recognize the time, skill and care each woman brings to her work.

For us, empowering our Nepali community starts here: valuing women’s craftsmanship and supporting their livelihoods through paid, skilled work.

When our felt pieces find a place in your shop, that connection reaches all the way back to the women who made them.
